Dale Ruth Woodham

Dale Ruth (Sanders) Woodham, 56, was born September 6, 1955 in Columbus, Georgia. She died at her home in Spanish Fort, Alabama on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 after a long bout with cancer.

Dale was raised in the Andalusia, Alabama area and attended Straughn High School. She advanced her education at MacArthur State Technical Institute, the University of Mobile and Faulkner State Community College, graduating from their nursing program. She was a skilled LPN and worked for Mercy Medical in Daphne, Alabama. She had been a resident of Spanish Fort for the past 20 years.

Dale is survived by her son, Rip Woodham and a sister, Alice (Sanders) Bailey and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Hughes Funeral Home in Daphne. Graveside services and interment will be at 3:00 pm at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Opp, Alabama.
